FIERY FLORA
Floral, rather than flowers are an essential part of the landscape to be enjoyed, lacking in arrangement, though benefactors of the environment.
My studio-working takes on a variety of media
and forms, with many processes
to create the textured layering.
Blousy flower heads often include digital working
to bring out different textures, expressed in vibrant print inks.
Seed-heads, when left to wither and disperse.
are depicted in more subtle colouring.
Work was created over a period and often
within the framework of other collections.
